Precious Junk owners Dora Bell and Vicki Benton both like unusual decor and they are opening a store which features unique decorating items.  They will offer new, old, and rusty furnishings.  If you are looking for unique ideas, this is the place. The store will be located in Roy and Dora’s Fish Place at 2375 Grindstone Road just west of Brock.  The store will also feature Roy and Dora’s catfish.  The store will be open the first full week of every month.  On Mondays they will be open from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  Mexican tostados will be served from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Tuesday through Thursday the hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.   Friday hours are from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Catfish and trimmings are served from 10:30 AM until 8:00 PM.  Saturday hours are from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and catfish will be served from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Follow them on Facebook.

The WISD Education Foundation's annual golf tournament is a tradition in our community!  Join us in a day of golfing, socializing, and FUN that supports our WISD teachers and students.  Our multiple levels of sponsorship allows your organization to advertise at a level that best fits your needs. May 6-8 – Greenwood Farm Horse Trials – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

May 6 – National Public Garden Day at Clark Gardens – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Gardens invites you to celebrate National Public Gardens Day. They will be conducting historical guided walking tours at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Walk alongside a trained docent as they share the Clark Gardens love story. At Noon, Carol Welch, Parker County Master Gardener, will present a class on Shade Gardening in North Central Texas. Free free to bring your own lunch and picnic in the garden for this special day! General admission fees apply. There is no charge for the tours or the Shade Garden presentation.
