The Wash-A-Roo Carwash, after being closed for over a year, has now reopened under new owners/operators Ken Hendricks and Karen Pope. They have spent over two months doing repairs and getting the Carwash back up and running. The Wash-A-Roo is located at 813 S Main and has 3 Self-Serve Bays, 1 Touchless Automatic and 4 Vacuum Stalls. Credit/Debit Cards are accepted. Another feature of the business is a customer loyalty card that never expires, can be reloaded and offers discounts and special promotions. Ken and Karen are very excited about opening back up the Carwash which has been a part of South Main Street for many years.

“Tuesday morning, June 9th the City, the Economic Development Board and the Chamber of Commerce hosted the much-anticipated groundbreaking to celebrate the construction start of the new Schulman Theatres 74,000 sq. ft. “Film Alley Weatherford” family center. The event was a packed-house with over 70 community leaders present to welcome Mr. Morris Schulman and his fourth-generation family business to Weatherford. This will be the largest entertainment center west of DFW with 8 dine-in theatres, 24 bowling lanes, a sports bar & grille, an interactive redemption arcade and private party rooms.”
