July 9, 2014: Weatherford Regional Medical Center welcomed community and chamber representatives for a ribbon cutting and celebration of newly remodeled Lone Star Café on July 9th. July 18, 2014: Parks, Recreation and Special Events joined citizens, city officials and generous partners for the Patsy Hooks Dog Park at Heritage Park ribbon cutting on Friday, July 18. The celebration marked the end of a three month construction project and welcomed the public. The Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter was present with animal adoptions, along with 4 Paws and a Tail Pet Services. The Patsy Hooks Dog Park at Heritage Park is located off Jack Borden Highway next to the Weatherford Police Station.
