United Way of Parker County is planning the 4th Annual Ride United! This scenic ride will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2014. The event will start and finish at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Arena, 2251 Mineral Wells Hwy. in Weatherford.

The ride begins at 8:00 am; registration opens at 6:30 am.

The ride will feature routes of: 24 miles, 36 miles & 59 miles.

Last year’s ride was smoother due to completion of construction on the Ric Williamson Memorial Highway and this year promises to be even better!

Participants have been pleased in the past with the challenging elevations (rolling hills) and beautiful scenery.

United Way will have many friendly volunteers to help. Volunteers will serve water, sandwiches and fruit, and hold bikes for the riders while they take a break at each rest stop.

At the end of the ride, everyone will come back to the starting point at the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse’s Arena for a meal. The registration and meal will be set up inside the Sheriff’s Posse building this year.

Ride United is in the process of putting together major sponsors for this event. Please call the office at: 817-596-5986 or visit www.rideunitedparkercounty.com for more information, sponsorship forms, and rider registration. On-line registration closes on Thursday, September 18th.
