February 20, 2016 will be the 15th Annual Raffle Night with Casino Games fundraiser for the WCPAAA. This event is held each February at the Senior Center in Weatherford. Each year the event offers blackjack, craps, roulette, bingo, Texas Hold’em, poker and prize wheels, not to mention great raffle items and food.

This year’s event will have many raffle items to choose from including, 4 to Disney Land and a host of other items. A complete listing can be found on our website www.weatherfordcitizenpolice.org and click on the casino link, be sure to check back as the list is being updated as items arrive.

Funds from this annual event are used according to the non-profit by-laws of the group, which is in a manner to support the Weatherford Police Department.

In 2001, the first casino night was hosted by the WCPAAA, who paid someone else to come and bring their equipment and dealers…from that event forward the WCPAAA has purchased their own equipment and provides dealers from right here in our own community. Each year, we try to add something new and exciting.

You can expect to have fun and be well entertained, and no need to have any knowledge of gaming, the dealers will take the time to teach you how to play the games. There will be several levels of dealers from the most basic to the most advanced….NAME YOUR GAME and they will do the rest.

Tickets for the annual event are $10 per person in advance ($15 at the door), and include $10,000 in play money, as well as a raffle ticket and drink. Advance tickets and canned good items earn extra raffle tickets. You must be at least age 18 to attend.

Space is limited so advanced tickets are highly suggested, as we expect a sell out as usual. We will only allow door tickets to be sold after all the advance ticket holders have a chance to get it, and see what space is available.

This event has proven to be a night of fun, entertainment, and surprises, and it is all for a good cause.

For advance tickets you may call 817-613-7692 or 817-594-2320 or go by the Weatherford Police Department (between 8 and 5 Mon. – Fri.)
