Parker County Heritage Society

The Parker County Heritage Society invites everyone to attend the 34th annual Candlelight Tour of Homes on Saturday December 12, 2015 from 2-8 PM.

In 1981 the Society began sponsoring the annual Candlelight Tour of Homes. This event, held the second Saturday in December, highlights homes, churches, and buildings left by the pioneers of Parker County.

This years’ Candlelight Tour of homes features eight beautiful, historic venues across Parker County. This year the tour will feature a home that is currently undergoing renovation, a beautiful colonial that was cut in half and moved, and the much talked about “Black Victorian”.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children under the age of 12. Tickets are available at www.parkercountyheritagesociety.com, at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce or the Doss Heritage and Cultural Center.

The 34th Annual Candlelight tour of Homes is sponsored by the following: C2 Logistics, First National Bank, Rosa’s Café, Parker County Today, Cyberhorse Construction, Jamie Bodiford – Century 21 Judge Fite, Emily Prowell – Parker County Realty, First Financial Bank, State Farm Mader-Bagley and Suncrop Nursery.
