Goodbye May – Hello June. Thank goodness for the recent rains that watered the land and filled area lakes, and before we know it, the hot days of summer will be here. June means school is finally out and of course it’s almost time for the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days Rodeo June 10th through 13th. Also, it’s another busy month for the Chamber with Breakfast Before Business on Friday, June 12th, and many ribbon cuttings for businesses in our community. And don’t forget the 31st Annual Parker County Peach Festival is coming up on July 11th. I encourage you again to visit the Chamber website to see how you and your business can get involved.
Summer reminds me of vacations and having fun with my family and friends. I hope that you can find some time to relax and take a break for a little while. Enjoy the long summer days and be thankful for the many blessings that we have in our lives.
Happy June to all of you!
